The world at large is starting to look at alternative health and development as a necessary and important factor to daily life.  This conceptual change in acceptance and desire for alternatives to mainstream medicine is especially evident in the United States.   The number of alternative health products and practitioners continue to grow every year.  And, while many people desire to try an alternative form of medicine or learn more about methods, available training, and potential benefits, common knowledge is limited and it may be difficult to find information and communicate with others about holistic practices.

Marisol Paredes, a practitioner and long-time user of Holistic Health practices, discovered this lack of available information and communication among the Holistic Health community.  Backed by the ApogeeInvent Development Group, she realized a dream to create a place for the Holistic Community to interact, communicate, and share their services.

Our network provides the millions of holistic medicine practitioners and users a solution.  We connect those with questions to the answers they seek and those who are in need of a holistic care program with the practitioners nearest to them.

The mission of HolisticSeek is to facilitate communication among those interested or involved in alternative healing methods.  We created this web-based portal for alternative medicine practitioners to advertise their products and services; for those in need of services to easily find nearby practitioners; and furnish valuable information to anyone curious about or unsure of how holistic medicine can help them.  We have built a network for anyone interested in holistic healing methods to obtain knowledge and services that can better their life. HolisticSeek will serve the growing community of individuals and organizations searching for more natural and more accessible ways to stay healthy.

From HolistcSeek Founder and Host, Marisol:

I have always been interested in the spiritual and alternative methods of healing the body through the mind and emotions. Through my Psychology studies, I learned many valuable people skills and the benefits of non traditional medicine. The mind, heart, and soul are so intertwined that the health of one affects the health of the others. Just treating the mind, or just treating the body, was much too limited.

I moved on to another phase, becoming a licensed realtor and even had a subdivision handed over to me by a great company. I was very successful, utilizing my knowledge of people to sell numerous properties to happy owners, but I still felt as if I was not accomplishing what I was meant to.

A good friend invited me to SWIHA, an amazing school of energy and massage and many other things.  The moment I walked in to that place I felt at peace; I felt at home.

I spoke with an advisor, signed up for class, and went immediately to get a job. Classes were amazing! I enrolled in the yoga program with a dab into everything else.  I took Cranial sacruum, polarity, and that was my beginning into the connection between the mind, body, and soul; all the questions I had for so many years were being answered by these knowledgeable instructors and meaningful classes.

Finishing these classes and becoming established in my chosen career, it became my passion to reach out to other practitioners or seekers that wanted to learn more about holistic health practices. That is how HolisticSeek and the My True Path Expo came about—following my drive to share the knowledge that had so helped me. I had found an amazing peace, and amazing health, through my new studies. I wanted to share this with the millions of others searching for the same throughout the country.

The concept of an online magazine concept was borne that is so great and fresh and new—and completely unique. 

The mainstream acceptance of holistic health is growing, and with it, a hungry audience searching for, demanding for, more information.  An online magazine is the perfect way to instruct, interact, and pass along information. The social network side will allow interaction and sharing. The My True Path Expo will cement these relationships and HolisticSeek’s interaction with our practitioners and seekers.

I've been involved with the media for ESPN, Playboy TV, ISU Cinema Guild, and many other demanding roles in public. Leading the HolisticSeek network as the host for this live streaming and interactive magazine will combine my public speaking ability with my passion for all things holistic.
